| CrossSearch provides a new overlay to the library's databases. Now you can search multiples databases at once through one interface! |
| CrossSearch allows searching by subject categories (top image) or individual databases (bottom image). If you decide you want to search a database, but not through CrossSearch, simply click on the database name. |
| Results can be sorted by date, title, author, and source (database). In addition, the top left part of the screen provides clustered results, which groups entries together by subtopics, allowing you to more quickly hone in on relevant articles. A checkbox in the right corner filters your results to those articles with immediate full text access. The Find It |

CrossSearch is not perfect. You have more functionality and features when searching the databases from their own search screens than when searching CrossSearch. However, CrossSearch's simple approach and quick results will often serve most needs very well. |
